Ok so our super awesome new president has pushed through a stimulus package that is either gonna help so much or ruin the country. But seriously, your share of the stimulus will be refreshing enough right? Maybe. If you and everyone else uses the stimulus check wisely then it can be great. If we fall into the same consumerism encouraged by the last commander in chief then everything will fall flat. Stimulus or not.
Though I'm not happy with some of what's been cut out of the 2009 stimulus package (mostly, the Republicans insisted that education be put on the chopping block), a whole ton of this is going to really positive things.
For example, there's going to be a lot put into the roads here in the US. Definitely something we need, but more importantly, it will get the construction workers who were laid off when the housing industry collapsed back to work. This is something that needed to happen anyway, and by funding it they are simply restoring jobs to an industry that has been severely hurt.
